Arsenal Women’s Departures: A Heartfelt Thank You to Three Key Players:

As the 2024-2025 season comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on and thank three incredibly dedicated players who will be departing Arsenal Women at the end of the season. Their hard work, professionalism, and commitment to the club have been invaluable, and they will always be a part of the Arsenal family.

Each of these players has made their mark at Arsenal Women, contributing to both the success and development of the team. While their journeys at Arsenal may be coming to an end, their legacy and influence will undoubtedly last. Let’s take a look at the contributions of each player:

  • Amanda Ilestedt 🛡️: Since joining in 2023, Amanda quickly established herself as a key figure in the team. With 34 appearances for the club, she brought not only defensive solidity but also leadership, guiding the team through important matches. Amanda’s experience and ability to read the game made her a vital part of Arsenal Women’s defense, providing the stability needed for a title-chasing team. Her resilience, strong presence in the air, and ability to command the backline will be missed, and we’re grateful for everything she contributed during her time at the club. We wish her all the best in her next chapter, confident she will continue to shine wherever she goes.
  • Teyah Goldie đź’Ş: An academy graduate, Teyah’s journey at Arsenal has been one of dedication and growth. Over her time at the club, Teyah made 6 appearances, and while her opportunities were limited, her attitude and professionalism were exemplary. Her loan spell at LCL proved to be a pivotal moment in her career, where she played a key role in helping the team gain promotion. Her contributions there showed her maturity and skill, and we are proud of what she has achieved. Teyah leaves Arsenal with our best wishes, and we have no doubt she will continue to develop and achieve great things in the future.
  • Lina Hurtig ⚽: Since joining Arsenal in 2022, Lina has made 32 appearances for the club. Unfortunately, her time with us has been impacted by injuries, but despite these setbacks, Lina’s professionalism and dedication never wavered. She faced each challenge with a positive mindset, always pushing herself to get back on the field and contribute to the team. Lina’s creativity and flair in the attacking third were invaluable when she was on the pitch, and her determination to recover and continue playing speaks volumes about her character. We thank Lina for her hard work, her passion for the game, and for being a true Gooner in every sense. We wish her all the best in her next steps and hope she finds continued success in the future.

A Heartfelt Thank You
To Amanda, Teyah, and Lina: we are deeply grateful for your time at Arsenal Women. Your contributions, both on and off the pitch, have been a big part of what made this team so special. While we say goodbye, you will always be a part of the Arsenal family. Your dedication, hard work, and professionalism have set an example for all, and we know you will continue to inspire wherever you go.

Thank you for everything. Once a Gooner, always a Gooner. đź”´⚪
